Claude's Interface Got Faster: Load Time Fell to 0.55 Seconds
In August 2026, the Anthropic team spent two weeks making four key claude.ai and Claude desktop workflows roughly three times faster. They accounted for 95% of activity: in 75% of cases, the page with the input field began loading in 0,55 seconds instead of 3,1, a new Claude Code session in 0,3 instead of 0,8, and a cloud Claude Cowork session in 0,73 instead of 2,6.

The team identified bottlenecks, built benchmarks, made changes, and monitored deployments from a single Slack channel. Claude Tag, running on an internal research model comparable to Opus 5.5, worked in every thread, while people set goals, chose trade-offs, and approved every change.
How to enable it. Claude Tag is still in beta and available only on Team and Enterprise plans: an Owner enables it in settings, installs the Claude app in Slack, invites @Claude to a channel, and sends the connection command. The code is valid for 15 minutes. Before launch, select at least two tools, optionally connect the Claude GitHub App and repository access. Claude gets access to every channel it is added to.
The monthly spending limit can be set to $500, $1,000, $2,500, $5,000, Unlimited, or Custom up to $1,000,000.
During the sprint, the team merged more than 3 000 changes without a user incident or a rollback.
