Horizon games can now be built from a phone: Meta adds AI prompts
On Sep 24, Meta opened a waitlist for Horizon Create and Horizon Studio. In the mobile app, you start a game from a prompt or template; in the browser, you change its details without installation or a gaming PC.
Previously, you built a Horizon game in one tool. Now you can start a project on your phone, move it to the browser along with its assets and edit history, then publish it to Facebook, Instagram, or Horizon.
Meta says it supports 2D and 3D games, multiplayer, difficulty, and progression. In the demo, five people played in one world, and publishing took two taps.
Android Central expects the broader rollout of the new Horizon to begin in early 2027.
