Gemini CLI removes temporary files after background commands: nightly 0.63.0
On Sep 26, 2026, Google released Gemini CLI v0.63.0-nightly.20260926.g2fe7c2d3f: a background shell command now cleans up the temporary folder after completion. The build also fixed the diff.external setting and collisions between session filenames created within the same minute.
