In an early experiment with Bun + JSC, Claude Code started 24% faster thanks to ahead-of-time compilation.
Lower resource use. In the same measurement, the CLI used 48% less memory and 46% less CPU. For an agent used in the terminal, that means less load on the computer.
In the early preview, the executable was almost twice as large; Sumner has now reported a reduction in size.
