Helm.ai models have commercial customers: company reports $70 million in contracts
As of Oct 8, 2026, Helm.ai had announced $70 million in signed commercial contracts for its foundation models.

Helm.ai is expanding its platform from automotive AI into industrial automation and robotics. The company says the $70 million represents signed contracts, not revenue received.
From cars to robots. Helm.ai previously developed models for road perception and vehicle control. It now offers the same foundation for industrial tasks. Honda signed a multiyear agreement with Helm.ai in July 2025.
Deep Teaching separates environment recognition from action selection. The models learn the geometry of the world from video without manual labeling, while the planner receives a description of the space instead of raw pixels. In December 2025, Helm.ai reported training its planner in simulation and on 1,000 hours of real driving, then demonstrated steering on unfamiliar streets in Torrance.
For automotive tasks, Helm.ai also offers video scene generators. GenSim-3 modifies existing driving footage, while VidGen-3 creates scenes from scratch. Helm.ai Driver uses cameras without lidar or detailed road maps. The company offers Level 2+ driver assistance and plans to develop more autonomous Level 3 and Level 4 modes.
Access through a demo. Getting started with the products begins with a request on the Helm.ai website. The form asks for a work email, company, job title and task description.
