NVIDIA opens up Vera Rubin architecture to the ecosystem at OCP Global Summit
On Oct 12 at the OCP Global Summit in San Jose, NVIDIA opened the Vera Rubin architecture to the ecosystem and announced new partnerships. The goal: help the industry scale AI factories faster and more reliably.

AI factories used to be measured in megawatts; now the talk is about gigawatts. Raw compute alone is not enough for a build-out like this. Open standards are needed to speed up scaling and make it more efficient and reliable. For practitioners, this is a signal about hardware and infrastructure, not about which tool to install today.
The next question is how fast open standards will turn gigawatts into working AI factories.
