OpenAI job interviews pulled into Apple's case: court grants access to interviews and messages
A federal judge has allowed Apple to obtain from OpenAI its interview materials with former Apple employees, their personal messages and their testimony.

Records of OpenAI's interviews are going to Apple's lawyers. Along with them, the court handed over the personal messages and testimony of key figures in the case.
The dispute is no longer a fight between two companies over corporate documents: disclosure now covers the correspondence of specific people who moved from Apple to OpenAI.
What the court opened up. Apple won the right to OpenAI's interview materials with former Apple employees, to their personal messages and to the testimony of key figures in the case. The federal judge's ruling became public on Oct 13.
What the case is about. Apple is pursuing a trade secrets claim centered on former employees who left for OpenAI. Evidence is now being sought in how those people were hired.
Next in the case comes testimony from the key figures.
