Cursor launched its repository hosting on Aug 17, 2026 with three integrations. Two months later there are more than 20.
Origin is no longer just a place where code sits: a repository inside Cursor gets wired to the same set of services as a repository on GitHub.
What you can connect. Deployment is covered by Vercel, Cloudflare and Netlify, plus Render and Spacelift. CI has seven services, including Buildkite, CircleCI and Depot. Code review comes from CodeRabbit, Greptile and Tenki.
Security has four services, including Semgrep and Socket Security. Monitoring has just one so far, Sentry. For issue tracking there's Linear.
GitHub mirrors follow the old rules: Depot and Buildkite only work on repositories hosted in Origin, while mirrors keep building on the GitHub side.
How to turn it on. Go to cursor.com/codebase, click Get Started and claim a namespace. During the beta the name is reserved for your team, then an admin creates repositories and grants access to everyone else. Apps are installed in the codebase settings, under Apps.
Origin is available on the Start, Pro, Pro+, Ultra, Teams and Enterprise plans, but not on the free Hobby plan. Access is rolling out in stages, so being on an eligible plan doesn't mean the button is there yet.
You can also submit your own app to the catalog: build it on the Origin API, switch it to Public and send it with the Submit to marketplace button. The submission needs a 5–10 minute demo video that opens without a login.
The marketplace accepts outside submissions, so the next dozen apps no longer depend on Cursor.
