RTX Spark: laptops with 128 GB memory and a petaflop of AI ship Oct 16
NVIDIA releases RTX Spark laptops on Friday, Oct 16, 2026, with up to 128 GB of unified memory and 1 petaflop of AI compute. The company's blog calls the chip a gaming PC, a creative studio and a personal AI supercomputer all at once.

PAIR, a personal AI router, installs from GitHub releases. On Windows it's an .exe, on macOS a .dmg (drag it into Applications), and on Debian run sudo apt install ./NVPAIR-Setup-*.deb. On first launch, PAIR offers the Ollama, LM Studio or llama.cpp engines.
Models download from the Add model tab after you enable an engine. A second PC connects with the Add node button over the network or by IP, and the invited user enters a 6-digit PIN. The connection is checked in Settings > Cluster.
Agents. On first launch, RTX Spark opens a Getting Started screen where you pick an agent app. GitHub Copilot, Hermes, OpenClaw and Perplexity have been updated: setup is faster, security relies on OpenShell and Microsoft Execution Containers (MXC), and requests are split between the local model and the cloud.
PAIR's local endpoint accepts requests only from the PC it runs on, so the agent that calls it runs on the same machine. An OpenAI-compatible request goes to the PAIR address at the path /v1/chat/completions.
Games. DLSS 5 ships Oct 16, and RTX Remix 1.6 on Oct 23. Hogwarts Legacy with DLSS 5 ships Nov 5.
Nemotron 3.5 Bolt 74B-A9B for 24 GB ships Oct 15, a day before laptop sales.
