A sign from Super Mario 64 was read 30 years later: "Eternal Star… We hope so"
The author of the post used Claude Opus 5.5 to run millions of font and setting combinations on a GPU. The best match for "Eternal Star… We hope so" was Palatino Bold Italic. The font came from an Adobe file from 1990, the one bundled with every Mac that had a PostScript printer.
