GTA V NPCs reply to your voice in about a second, with no scripts

NPCTalk turns GTA V NPCs into conversation partners: the player speaks into a microphone, and the character answers in its own voice in about a second, reacting with its body. According to the author, the same scheme is packaged as instructions for an AI coding agent, which can add this kind of dialogue to any game.
