Claude model designed proteins against scorpion toxins: 17 designs met the success criteria

An internal Claude model had 17 of 211 designs sent for lab testing meet the success criteria, published Oct 20, 2026. Before that, the model screened 318,484 protein designs against four scorpion toxins.
