Otter.ai raises $320M without selling equity: the fund gets paid back from marketing returns

On Oct 20, Otter.ai announced it had received $320M from General Catalyst's Customer Value Fund (CVF). Such funds give startups capital without dilution and get repaid from the results of their marketing spend.
