How to read the table
An MCP server is an app for an AI agent: connect it, and the agent can do more. It opens websites, reads a database, sees Figma mockups. The table lists the most installed servers.
Numbers: what to trust
- Weekly installs - package downloads over the 7 days through Oct 4, 2026 on npm and PyPI, the same number shown on the package page. A run on a new machine also counts as a download, so this measures demand, not the number of people. The table is sorted by it. npm or PyPI did not respond today, so the snapshot for the week through Oct 4, 2026 is shown.
- Trend - change versus the previous 7 days.
- Stars - GitHub repository stars as of Oct 6, 2026. A dash means the repository is shared with other servers, so its stars are not about this server.
- - "no limits" marks servers that run on your computer without someone else's account. A dash means we haven't checked yet.
- Servers that connect only by URL (the official GitHub, Figma, Linear) are not in the table yet: they have no public install counter.
