Manus goes independent from Meta again: a new round is being discussed at a valuation of around $4 billion
Manus is discussing raising $500 million at a valuation of about $4 billion, though deal terms could still change, Bloomberg reported on September 17, 2026. This is the company’s first round since its split from Meta.

Manus completed its operational separation from Meta in May 2026 and resumed independent operations on September 1. Following the split, the founders and former investors bought out Meta's stake at a $2 billion valuation, while Tencent became the largest outside investor. Current investors also include HSG and ZhenFund.
For users. Until May, Manus was developed alongside Meta. The service now operates separately again and is available through its web app and apps for macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android. Some users needed to back up and restore their data, while others were unaffected by the changes.
Revenue has grown. In May 2025, Manus raised $75 million at a valuation of about $500 million. In December, the company said it had reached an annual revenue run rate of $100 million in its first 8 months, with the overall run rate exceeding $125 million. A new $500 million round at a valuation of about $4 billion would be its first funding since the separation if talks close on these terms.
Next milestone: closing the round on the agreed terms.
