Customers can book with you through a Meta agent: Stripe cuts integration to 5 endpoints

Until mid-September 2026, getting into Meta’s agent required a custom integration: there was no public connector intake.
Now Meta is accepting developer applications, while Stripe handles payments. A person asks the agent to book an appointment, the agent finds a service in the Muse directory and pays for the booking itself.
For service businesses, this is a new path to the customer: they do not open a website or make a call, they simply ask the agent.
What to connect. Stripe supports one of two options: a booking API with five endpoints or an MCP server with four tools for finding slots, creating, changing, and cancelling bookings. No one dictates the payload schema, and there is no need to rebuild an existing booking system.
How payments work. The seller receives a Shared Payment Token in the booking confirmation and processes it as a standard payment. The token works with the current Stripe integration, including Connect. Risk controls and reporting remain unchanged.
Muse pays through the Link wallet, which is accepted by more than a million businesses. If a business does not accept Link, Link issues the agent a single-use virtual card number for that specific purchase. Muse purchases are initially available only to people in the US.
Developers apply through the “Submit a connector” button: describe the connector, pass Meta’s functionality, security, and legal review along with end-to-end testing, and after approval the connector appears in the directory. The system is in preview status and works in 34 countries; Russia is not on the list.
Everything now hinges on the directory: the agent will only buy from services that pass Meta’s review and make the list.
