Corporations get AI startups tailored to them: Vantora raises more than $100 million
On September 16, 2026, Vantora, formerly UP.Labs, raised more than $100 million from Silversmith Capital Partners. This is the company's first external capital. Vantora has launched 17 startups and plans to bring the total to 20 by the end of 2026.

In 2022, UP.Labs signed a three-year agreement with Porsche to create 6 companies and selected 217 automaker challenges to tackle.
Now. Vantora builds startups primarily for enterprise customers. The partner invests in the new venture, becomes its first customer, and may later retain the company within its own business.
Inside. Vantora teams work within enterprises alongside operators and data. Its proprietary COSMOS platform brings operational data into a shared schema for AI workflows and autonomous agents.
Vantora's partners include Porsche, Alaska Airlines, J.B. Hunt, Wabash, and TDG, the parent company of Ashley Furniture. Revenue grew 79% year over year, while a typical identified problem is estimated to hold $50–100 million in annual EBITDA potential. The funding will go toward partnerships, COSMOS, and hiring AI and commercial specialists. Following its rebrand, the company is building its own M&A deal flow and sharpening its focus on AI for the physical world.
By the end of 2026, Vantora plans to bring the number of startups it has created to 20.
