Wind power will flow into the Texas grid for Oracle data centers: contracts for 1.7 GW

Oracle contracted more than 1,7 GW of wind power in Texas (September 20, 2026): the company plans to use those volumes to power its data-center campus in Abilene.

The power itself goes into the ERCOT operator’s grid, rather than over a direct line to the campus.
