The Pi agent can now switch tools on the fly: the conversation cache is not reset
Pi 0.86.0 was released on 19.09.2026: tools can be added and changed right in the middle of a conversation, and on supported models this does not reset the cache. The team immediately warned of possible regressions caused by system messages mid-conversation and added the /bug command for reports.

Regressions are quite possible here because of system messages in the middle of a conversation. We have been testing this for a while, but few people build from main. If you find issues, please, we really ask you, let us know! (And there is now /bug)
