One project, one video: ElevenLabs' Studio 4.0 generates video, voice and music

Putting together a video is no longer a chain of three services: the video generator, voice generator, and editor have moved into one project.

What came before. Studio 3.0 launched on September 17, 2025 and learned to work with video only on top of a finished file: voiceover, music, sounds, automatic captions, and comments. Neither video nor images could be created within the project.

In 4.0, ElevenLabs delegates image generation to third-party models. Video comes from Sora 2, Veo 3.1, Kling 2.5, and four more models; images come from Nano Banana, Flux Kontext, and two more. Voice, music, and sound effects remain its own. Everything sits on one timeline, with captions and export there too.

How much it costs. Studio is open on all plans, including the free one; GenFM podcasts are the exception, requiring a paid subscription. Free includes 10 000 credits a month and 5 projects, but exports carry a watermark and have no commercial license. Starter at $6 a month removes the watermark, raises the limit to 30 000 credits and 20 projects, and allows the result to be used for work. From Russia, you need a foreign card to pay.

Five days earlier, on September 16, ElevenLabs put a chat co-editor on the timeline. Studio Agent arranges clips, voiceover, and sounds itself: Create edits the project, while Plan only advises. It has more than 10 000 voices in 32 languages.

Five days passed between Studio Agent and Studio 4.0 — editor updates are arriving one after another.
