Humanoid robots expected to triple: Goldman Sachs projects 890,000 by 2030
Goldman Sachs expects 75 000 humanoid robots to ship in 2026. By 2030, the bank expects 890 000 machines. By 2035, the estimate has risen to 6,5 million robots and a $138 billion market.
Previously, Goldman Sachs expected 51 000 robots in 2026, 256 000 by 2030, and 1,4 million by 2035. The bank has now raised its estimates to 75 000, 890 000, and 6,5 million, respectively.
The first factory floors. Goldman Sachs names warehouses, logistics, and the automotive industry as early areas of deployment. Its 2035 market estimate rose from $38 billion to $138 billion.
By 2035, each humanoid could account for $3 000–6 000 in semiconductor costs.
