Work chats will become an entry point for agents: VK WorkSpace adds MCP
On September 23, VK Tech added an MCP server to VK WorkSpace On-Premise 26.3: agents in VK AI Space can now work with Messenger. The server will arrive in the SaaS version in October 2026.
Previously, agents in VK AI Space could not work with VK WorkSpace services through MCP. They can now access Messenger, and VK Tech promises to add Mail, Disk, and Calendar by the end of 2026.
AI Assistant will arrive in SaaS in October 2026: it will analyze accessible conversations and provide links to the original chats. Semantic search also respects access permissions. The company has not disclosed the price or limits.
In October 2026, the SaaS version will get an MCP server and AI Assistant.
