Meta’s AI agent will live in your pocket: Muse Charm expected by December 2026
On September 23, Meta unveiled Muse Charm, a 5-centimeter key fob with the Muse AI agent. The Jolly avatar lives on its screen, and a conversation starts with a touch of the fingerprint sensor. Meta expects shipments by the holiday season in December 2026.
Muse used to live in iOS and Android apps, WhatsApp, the web, and a Mac app. Now Meta is preparing a dedicated device for it that can be carried in a pocket or on a keychain.
Conversation instead of an app. Muse can continue a task after the app is closed and asks permission before sending an email or making a purchase. Charm adds voice, Wi-Fi-free 5G, and a digital avatar; the basic Muse is free in the US, while advanced tasks require a subscription with no published price.
Meta has scheduled Muse Charm shipments for the holiday season in December 2026.
