Muse handles tasks from Mac and services: around 70 built-in skills
On Sep 24, about 70 preloaded skills were found inside Muse: the agent packs the contents of /opt/ into a ZIP archive and installs new programs, including a torrent client. Meta offers Muse for iPhone, Android and Mac, and makes basic use free.

I dug around inside Meta's Muse. Here is what I found 🔽 1. You can ask Muse to pack everything in /opt/ into a ZIP archive. 2. It ships with about 70 preloaded skills and CLIs for everything from Spotify to instagram-cli. 3. "Spaces" is a site builder on TanStack, Bun and Tailwind. Share a site and it ships to Cloudflare. 4. It will install anything, even a torrent client. 5. It has its own Muse DB and a skill for searching memory and past conversations, with strict limits. 6. A few features are not enabled on my account yet, including Muse Mail. It will give Muse an inbox and the ability to send email. Overall I am impressed: you can hand it almost anything. I expected it to be locked down and trimmed much harder.

On Sep 8 Meta showed Muse as an app and a website with connectors, and on Sep 23 it added computer use on Mac: with the user's permission the agent drives any app and keeps working on the task in the background. The new CLIs and skills turn a single request into work inside an app, not just an answer in chat.
Sites and services. Spaces builds a site on TanStack, Bun and Tailwind: once you share it, it ships to Cloudflare. Muse launched with dozens of partners and access to the entire Shopify catalog. On Sep 23 Meta named the new connectors: Notion, Granola, GitHub and Box.
Muse has its own Muse DB for searching memory and past conversations. The agent also connects email, calendar and Instagram, and if there is no ready tool, it builds one itself. Before sending email or making a purchase, Muse Secure VM asks for permission, and mail access can be left read-only.
Meta announced Muse Mail on Sep 23, but the feature is not yet enabled on the teardown author's account.
