On Sep 26, 2026, Claude Code received a small fixed quota from its weekly limit to finish a task when it hits the 5-hour limit. Rather than cutting off midway through edits, the agent will try to find a natural stopping point. Max 5x costs $100 per month, Max 20x costs $200.
