Large PRs get deeper reviews: Greptile Apex finds 2.55 P0/P1 issues per PR
On Sep 25, Greptile added Plus and Apex tiers: they cost 3 and 10 credits, versus 1 credit for Base. The higher tiers use more tools and subagents, handle tasks in parallel, and analyze PRs more deeply.

Today, we're launching new Greptile review tiers: Plus and Apex. The higher tiers have more tools and subagents, can handle tasks in parallel, understand PRs better, and find more bugs. - Base: thorough code review with full codebase context. - Plus: deeper review for PRs that need extra scrutiny. - Apex: the most thorough review for large and complex PRs.

Previously, Greptile offered Base with a complete view of the codebase. Now, for complex PRs, you can choose Plus or Apex: on PRs with 28+ changed files, the company recorded 1.23 valid P0/P1 findings for Base, 1.67 for Plus, and 2.55 for Apex.
What to enable. Plus and Apex are enabled in review settings, where they can be assigned to large PRs and high-risk code changes. In a celestia-core test PR, the higher tiers found data expanding from roughly 120 MB to more than 1 GB, which Base did not flag.
Greptile already runs Apex on all large PRs before production deploys.
