Personal AI agent valued at $10 billion: Instinct grows fourfold in a month
On Sep 28, Instinct closed a $1 billion Series C at a $10 billion valuation. Sequoia Capital, Benchmark Capital and Coatue joined the round. The service takes requests by text or phone call and completes them through its own phone number and computer.
A month ago, investors valued Instinct at $2.5 billion. The company is now worth $10 billion: investors are betting on an AI agent as a standalone service rather than another chat.
More than a chat. The AI agent plans its own steps, calls tools and carries a task through to completion. Instinct already calls organizations on the user's behalf through its concierge and can coordinate plans with friends' agents.
The service launched in invite-only mode in August 2026. Joining starts with a login page, phone number and Send Code button.
