By Sep 30, Claude.dev had brought together guides to Claude Code and the API, engineering breakdowns and advice from the teams building Claude.
The site offers resources for developers. Posts can be searched and narrowed down with topic filters. The Docs section links to documentation for Claude Code, an AI coding agent.
Improvement through evaluation. In a guide by Anthropic engineer Lance Martin, the `/claude-api build-eval` command creates a quality evaluation within the project. Then `/claude-api hillclimb` improves the app based on the evaluation results.
In a Sep 28 example, Martin used 44 support tickets. Before the improvements, the app achieved 78.6% accuracy on 14 held-out tickets; afterward, it reached 90.5%. The cost fell to one fifth of the original.
A separate recipe covers migrating an app to another model. In Addy Osmani's guide, the `/claude-api migrate this project to claude-sonnet-5-5` command changes the model identifier and incompatible API parameters in the code.
A startup speed breakdown. The Anthropic team also described work on its own products: during a 2-week sprint in August, it cut Claude Code session startup time from 0.8 to 0.3 seconds. The breakdown was published on Sep 23.
In the Terminal interface on Claude.dev, `/help` shows the available commands, while `/posts` opens additional posts.
