ElevenLabs doubles its valuation to $22 billion

Money for employees. Wellington and T. Rowe Price led the share buyback, rather than a new funding round for the company. In February, ElevenLabs raised $500 million in a Series D led by Sequoia Capital.

Enterprise customers account for 55% of ElevenLabs' revenue, according to company figures as of Sep 30. Following the February round, Stripe, Deutsche Telekom, SevenRooms and other companies adopted ElevenAgents.

ElevenAgents handles more than 15 million conversations a week, three times as many as in February. The product's annualized revenue has more than tripled, according to ElevenLabs.

ElevenAgents voice AI agents resolve customer requests 31% faster on average than chat agents, according to an analysis of the vendor's customers. Since February, the number of companies using ElevenAgents for support across multiple channels has doubled.

Building from a project. ElevenAgents is used to create an assistant that talks to users, for example to handle support requests. To build one with an AI coding assistant, the vendor offers a skill installed with `npx skills add elevenlabs/skills --skill agents`. The skill gives the assistant instructions for working with ElevenAgents.

On macOS, you can also create an assistant through the CLI. The sequence in ElevenLabs' documentation as of Sep 30:

1. Install the CLI: `brew install elevenlabs/tap/elevenlabs`. 2. Set up the project: `elevenlabs agents init`. 3. Sign in: `elevenlabs auth login`. 4. Create an assistant from a template: `elevenlabs agents add "My Assistant" --template assistant`. 5. Push it to ElevenAgents: `elevenlabs agents push`.

Since Sep 28, Eleven v4 and v4 Turbo have been available in ElevenAgents, ElevenCreative and ElevenAPI. The models support more than 90 languages, and Instant Voice Clone needs just 10 seconds of audio, according to the vendor.

Eleven v4 Turbo starts producing audio in roughly 150 ms for a typical request, according to ElevenLabs' measurements using WebSocket streaming, excluding network latency.
