Posting tips based on your stats: Instagram adds an AI assistant to Edits
The assistant analyzes your Instagram data, suggests content ideas and recommends changes to your posts.
Instagram is adding an AI assistant to Edits, its standalone video creation app. The company announced the addition on Sep 30.
From testing to launch. On Jun 11, attendees at a private event for creators tested the assistant. As recently as Sep 15, Meta was still calling it an upcoming feature. The company has now announced its addition to the app.
Getting started. Download Edits and sign in with your Instagram account. The app is available for free on Google Play and the App Store. On iPhone, it requires iOS 16.3 or later.
Meta also promised to release a desktop version of Edits later.
For the upcoming Edits Plus, Meta promises expanded assistant usage and more storage for syncing projects.
