Primary Bot appeared in developer Flavio Copes's macOS app on Sep 30. On Oct 1, TestingCatalog reported that the feature was gradually rolling out to users.
Back on Aug 11, SpaceXAI described a coordinating bot overseeing assistants for specific tasks. These included email, expense tracking, hiring and bug fixes. Users can now designate a primary assistant directly in the app, and it will proactively offer help with everyday tasks.
How to designate an assistant. In the Introducing Primary Bot window, the Create Primary Bot button creates a new bot. The Use an existing Bot button opens a search of existing bots. There can only be one primary bot: the app marks it with a star in the sidebar.
Grok Bot runs as a standalone app for macOS, Windows and Linux. After installing it, click Sign in and sign in through Cursor in your browser. To check for updates, go to Settings → Updates → Check for Updates.
Pricing and usage. According to Cursor's pricing as of Oct 1, Grok Bot access is included in two plans. Taxes are charged separately.

The free trial provides usage credit for 7 days. Usage depends on agent steps and tokens, so a large task can exhaust the credit in a single run. On paid plans, Weekly usage resets each week, and once it runs out, you can enable paid On-demand usage.
Cursor and SuperGrok subscriptions do not combine their usage limits.
