Ideogram 4.5 debuts at 23rd on the AA-Image-Editing v2.0 leaderboard: it is the first Ideogram model on this leaderboard. It ranks 34th in AA-Image-T2I v2.0. Ideogram 4.5 is Ideogram's new image model, released on Sep 30. Ideogram positions it as a model for high-precision editing: it is designed to reduce pixel shifts, color changes and texture artifacts across successive edits. It also supports text-to-image generation. We evaluated Ideogram 4.5 at the High quality level. In AA-Image-Editing v2.0, Ideogram 4.5 ranks 23rd, just behind HiDream-O1-Edit-1.5 and HunyuanImage 3.0 Instruct and ahead of ByteDance's Seedream 5.0 Lite. It is the first Ideogram model on our image editing leaderboard. In AA-Image-T2I v2.0, it ranks 34th, up from Ideogram 4.0's 40th place. At the High quality level we evaluated, editing with Ideogram 4.5 costs $0.22 per image ($220 per 1,000 images), while text-to-image generation costs $0.10 per image ($100 per 1,000). At lower quality levels, prices start at $0.008 per image for editing and $0.03 per image for text-to-image generation. Where it ranks. Artificial Analysis tested the model at High quality. In AA-Image-Editing v2.0, it ranked just behind HiDream-O1-Edit-1.5 and HunyuanImage 3.0 Instruct, but ahead of ByteDance's Seedream 5.0 Lite.
In text-to-image generation, Ideogram 4.0 ranked 40th. Ideogram 4.5 now ranks 34th in AA-Image-T2I v2.0.
Price per image. At High quality, editing costs $0.22 per image, and text-to-image generation costs $0.10. At lower quality levels, prices start at $0.008 per edit and $0.03 per generation.
The model launched on Sep 30 and is available in Ideogram, through the Ideogram API and via launch partners. It can edit existing images and create new ones from text descriptions.
