One integration schema for multiple customers: Ampersand lets customers map fields
The developer defines the integration once, and each customer maps its fields to their own CRM through an embedded interface.

Ampersand raised $15 million in a Series A round led by Bessemer Venture Partners and announced the platform's general availability. Lauri Moore will join the board. Ampersand lets AI agents read and update records in Salesforce, SAP, NetSuite and Workday, even when each customer has configured these systems differently. > Read actions retrieve data on a schedule or on demand, including historical data. > Write actions create and update records in the customer's system. > Subscribe actions deliver changes in real time as records are updated.
Your AI is vaporware without deep integrations with your customers’ systems of record. Introducing @WithAmpersand: integration infrastructure for enterprise agents. We power 11x, Orb, and Square's ability to take agentic action in systems of record like Salesforce, SAP, NetSuite, and Workday. Ask anyone serious about building AI and they’ll tell you: - The SaaSpocalypse didn’t happen. The world depends on CRMs, ERPs, HRISs, and ITSMs. - Your customers customized their deployments beyond recognition. - Systems of record companies are basically monopolies. They never had to make their APIs and MCPs user-friendly. - Docs don't explain half the weird edge cases you'll hit. - One bad write can blow up your pilot or renewal. - Once you finally get it working, someone changes a field and it breaks again. The world's data lives in structured databases. AI needs a translation layer to work with it. So, for your AI to truly transform the way enterprises work, you'll need deep integrations built for: - scoped permissions - bi-directional actions - real-time speed for agents - custom objects, fields, and workflows for each of your customers We built Ampersand to power the future of software. AI didn't trivialize writing integrations. It made them the critical path. I believe that deeply, so I didn't make a launch video about Ampersand. Instead, it's the best builders I know explaining just how big of a challenge this is.

Ampersand connects AI agents to enterprise systems configured for each customer. An agent can read a record and modify it.
The platform works with Salesforce, SAP, NetSuite and Workday. For example, the contract renewal date field has different names across customers. The developer defines renewalDate in amp.yaml, and the customer selects the corresponding field in their system through an embedded interface.
Changes without the wait. When Ampersand launched self-service connections on Oct 1, 2024, it already supported reading and writing, while Subscribe was still planned. Subscribe now delivers record creation, update and deletion events in real time. Read retrieves data on a schedule or on demand, including historical data, while Write creates and updates records.
In the 11x case study available as of Oct 6, 2026, Muizz Matemilola said that after connecting Subscribe, the Julian agent began taking action about 1 minute after a form was submitted, down from 10 minutes. The initial CRM integration took 2 weeks. According to 11x, 70% of its customers use Ampersand integrations, saving more than 400 engineering hours a year.
Connecting on macOS. Install the CLI with `brew tap amp-labs/cli`, `brew update` and `brew install amp-labs/cli/cli`. After creating an account in Ampersand Dashboard, the developer runs `amp login`, defines the integration in amp.yaml and deploys it with `amp deploy <folder> --project <id-or-name>`. You can connect the documentation to Claude Code with `claude mcp add ampersand-docs --transport http "https://docs.ampersand.ai/mcp"`.
Ampersand meters usage by completed actions: batches of data read, successful write calls and delivered events. Searches and requests through Proxy are counted separately. The company offers Startups, Growth and Enterprise plans.
On Oct 6, 2026, Ampersand announced the platform's general availability and a $15 million Series A round led by Bessemer Venture Partners. Matrix, Flex Capital and new investors, including Yelp, participated in the round. Bessemer partner Lauri Moore will join the board.
Ampersand also announced the beta of Andi, an AI agent that helps developers implement integrations in each customer's environment.
