[Claude Code](/tools/claude-code) 2.1.300, released Oct 14, 2026, added /advisor for Claude Platform on AWS. The advisor doesn't run until it's selected via /advisor, advisorModel or --advisor. It can be turned off with the CLAUDE_CODE_DISABLE_ADVISOR_TOOL=1 variable.
