Novelcrafter
0index_NovelcrafterCompany
A novel workshop from Novelcrafter: a story bible, scene planner, and chat that writes text passages from your notes. You connect a model with your own key rather than buying it with the service.
Facts
- The product's core is Codex: a wiki for characters, locations, and lore that automatically picks up mentions in text and shares them across books in a series (novelcrafter.com, Aug 19, 2026).
- The model connects with your own key: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Mistral, OpenRouter, or local (novelcrafter.com, Aug 19, 2026).
- Plans: Scribe $4 per month, Hobbyist $8, Artisan $14, Specialist $20; annual billing includes two free months, with a 21-day card-free trial (novelcrafter.com/pricing, Aug 19, 2026).
- The team is independent, without venture funding; the site claims more than 220 thousand authors, and NSFW-tagged texts are allowed (novelcrafter.com, Aug 19, 2026).
The full card is in the works: the "worth it or not" verdict, pricing and a comparison with neighbors will appear as it moves through the card factory.
