On September 11, 2026, Cline released Cline Desktop, an open-source workspace for open-weight models. The Mac version is available, Windows is still in beta, and Desktop supports 300+ models, local models, and custom API keys. ClinePass costs $9.99 per month and provides API limits 2–5 times higher than standard.
