Xiaomi’s new model cuts the price of a million tokens: MiMo-V2.6-Flash from $0.14
On September 22, Xiaomi released MiMo-V2.6-Flash, priced from $0.14 per million input tokens outside China. The model has a 1 million-token context window and outputs up to 128K tokens. MiMo-V2.6-Pro costs $0.435 per million uncached input tokens and $0.87 per million output tokens.
Previously, the project called another compatible API through its base_url. Xiaomi now recommends changing the base_url and model name: after topping up the balance and creating an API key, the OpenAI SDK can be pointed to `https://api.xiaomimimo.com/v1`.
Weights are open. Xiaomi released the weights for both models, a technical report, and 7K+ environments for training on software engineering, web design, and development tasks. The models have been available through Vercel AI Gateway since September 21.
For offline batch processing, the Batch API offers both models at half the price of the real-time API.
