TBC speeds up video model with a neural lab: Oasis grows from 2 to nearly 10 FPS
On 22 September, TBC said it accelerated the Oasis Minecraft video model from 2 to almost 10 FPS. The company added 14 million parameters to the open-source model, 3% of its size. Real neurons remain in the lab: users get software for standard AI hardware.
The base Oasis degraded after about 5 seconds. TBC says its version beat the base model across all 5 metrics on 200 sequences of 600 frames.
There is already an entry point. The company shows a live demo and is collecting applications for early access to the API and cloud marketplaces for a future text-to-video model.
TBC promises to make the text-to-video model available via API and cloud marketplaces soon.
