AI skills became a job-market requirement: 37% more vacancies
In the first half of 2026, job openings requiring AI skills increased by 37% year over year (CNews, 23.09.2026). In marketing, advertising, and PR, the average offer for a candidate with neural network skills was 105 917 RUB per month versus 60 258 RUB without them. In law, such openings offered up to 80 000 RUB versus 60 538 RUB, and in insurance: 70 000 RUB versus 58 321 RUB.
Over the year, the share of image-generation tasks in chad grew from 2.8% to 20.8%, while tasks involving presentations and documents grew from 8.7% to 12.7%. chad founder Artur Koltsov says requests have shifted from broad marketing ideas to ad creatives, presentations, and media plans.
The requirement is spreading. It grew fastest among graphic designers: by 104%, marketplace managers: by 84%, content managers: by 43%, and SMM specialists: by 42%. In a June survey, 31% of workers in services and agriculture, 30% in transport and logistics, 28% in retail, sales, and customer service, and 23% in industry reported that AI skills were required for hiring.
In Ufa, 45% of respondents reported such requirements, in Kazan: 42%. In Moscow, Krasnodar, and Voronezh, the figure was 38%, in Saint Petersburg: 35%.
