Large PRs now open without lag: GitHub Copilot app tested on 1 million lines
On September 23, the GitHub Copilot app opened a test PR with 2 200 files and more than 1 million changed lines without lag while scrolling. The app is available on all Copilot plans, including Pro for $10 per month with 1 500 AI credits.

On June 17, the GitHub Copilot app became generally available on macOS, Linux, and Windows. Now, the new view renders all comments, moves only the code below when a section is expanded, and returns the PR to its previous position.
How to open a PR. You need a GitHub account, Git installed, and a Copilot plan or your own LLM provider with credentials or an API key. After connecting a local folder, GitHub repository, or Git URL, open a PR with the PR button.
In Copilot Business and Enterprise, access to the GitHub Copilot app is enabled by default and depends on a separate administrator setting.
