Google Photos hides personal details in screenshots: Redact blurs fragments on Android
On Sep 24, Google began rolling out Redact globally in Google Photos for Android. The pen in Markup blurs or pixelates sensitive areas in photos and screenshots.
The Redact pen was not available. It now sits alongside line-thickness settings and text fonts.
Where to find it. You need the Android Google Photos app: Redact will appear in Markup. Google is rolling out the feature gradually, so it may not appear immediately in some countries.
Google continues to gradually roll out Redact to Android users worldwide.
