Launch video built with Opus 5.5: 30 seconds on the first run
On Sep 25, Opus 5.5 produced a 30-second launch video for 1kPapers on the first try. The creator gave the model a recently launched app. The Opus 5.5 API costs $4 per million input tokens and $20 per million output tokens.

Opus 5.5 is incredibly good at launch videos. I gave it an app I recently launched, and it made me a great launch video in one go. The animations and charts impressed me. I love and often use open models, but I also believe every task needs the right model.

Wasmer founder Syrus Akbary spent 6 hours on the Wasmer SDK announcement video. Now LaunchVideo takes a URL or text brief, and Opus 5.5 writes a single HTML file for it.
The model does not render it. OpenComputer turns the HTML into frames through headless Chromium and encodes an MP4 with ffmpeg. The template is deployed with `npx opencomputer template deploy https://github.com/diggerhq/shipvideo`, and a 30-second video renders in 30–40 seconds.
The price is lower. Opus 5 previously cost $5 and $25 per million input and output tokens.
LaunchVideo already creates videos 20–40 seconds long.
