In the Oct 1 demo, GPT-6.1 Sol uses Higgsfield to redesign an apartment and emails the results to the owner.
The workflow runs inside ChatGPT. In August, Higgsfield was already available through a plugin for generating content. Now the company has added control of its interface through Computer Use in Codex and says it provides access to local files and automation skills.
How to connect. You need ChatGPT Desktop and an active paid Higgsfield subscription. No API key is required to connect Higgsfield.
1. In ChatGPT Desktop, open Work or Codex → Plugins → Computer Use → Install plugin. Enable the server and skill, then click Try now. On macOS, grant the app Screen Recording and Accessibility permissions. 2. In Plugins Directory, select Add Higgsfield plugin, sign in to your Higgsfield account, and authorize access. 3. Ask for your Higgsfield balance or recent generations. If the connection is working, the agent will call the tools and return your account data.
Photos and billing. For image generation, provide photos through a separate upload window opened by the agent, or via a direct image URL. A regular chat attachment cannot replace this step.
Generations through the plugin use Higgsfield credits at standard rates.
Higgsfield's unlimited and free generations are available only on its website.
