Higgsfield already connected to ChatGPT through a plugin. Now the company offers control of its interface inside Codex on GPT-6.1 Sol, with access to local files and automation skills. In the demo, the workflow went all the way through publishing Shorts.
Connecting Higgsfield. In Plugins Directory, select Higgsfield → Add, sign in to your Higgsfield account and authorize access. An active paid Higgsfield subscription is required; no API key is needed. In a new chat, check the connection by asking "What is my Higgsfield credit balance?".
Browser control. Computer Use is enabled separately in the ChatGPT desktop app. Setup steps according to the documentation as of Oct 1:
1. Select ChatGPT Work or Codex → Plugins → Computer Use → Install plugin/Enable. 2. Enable the server and skill, then click Try now. On macOS, grant Screen Recording and Accessibility permissions. 3. Open Settings → Computer Use, choose a browser and install the ChatGPT extension. 4. Once Manage appears, start a ChatGPT Work or Codex chat and select the browser using @.
To upload local files through Chrome, open Manage Extensions → ChatGPT extension → Details and enable Allow access to file URLs. Then retry the upload task.
