Dots and Muse move beyond chat: AI agents connect to work tools
Dot launches tasks in Codex, while Muse connects services, including those outside its built-in list.

On Sep 29, OpenAI began rolling out Dots, and Meta added business connectors to Muse. Muse's integrations include Figma and Lovable.
A personal AI agent plans its own steps and calls tools to carry out a request. For vibe coding, Dot connects to Codex, while Muse now connects to services used to build and manage products.
Dot for code. You can create a Dot in ChatGPT using a desktop browser or the desktop app. To launch tasks in Codex Cloud, first create an environment in Codex, then ask Dot to use it.
To work with a local project, connect your computer through the ChatGPT app and confirm Allow access. Dot then gains access to run Work and Codex tasks, use local skills and access the browser.
Muse for services. Since Sep 8, Muse has been available at muse.ai and in the iOS and Android apps. You can also chat with it through WhatsApp. The Sep 29 update added business integrations, while Custom Connectors let you connect a service outside the built-in list: ask Muse to add it, and the agent will guide you through setup, including obtaining API information.
