Vibecoding with Antigravity isn’t tied to Googlebook: the agent is available separately
Googlebook has been available for pre-order from $899 since 21 September, and Antigravity is already preinstalled on the laptop. It includes a Linux Terminal for Claude Code and Antigravity CLI. Every Googlebook includes 12 months of Google AI Pro with Gemini Advanced and 5 TB of storage.

It is always nice to see Google competing in developer tools and hardware, but there is almost nothing to celebrate in this lineup today: Antigravity, who even uses it outside Google?? It is stuck on Sonnet and Opus 4.6, Gemini lags noticeably behind the leaders despite being cheap, and... Android?

Previously, Antigravity could already be installed on macOS, Windows and Linux. Googlebook adds a ready-made Linux Terminal, but agentic vibe coding in the demo still required a Gemini account and tokens.
Models included. The free version of Antigravity includes four Gemini models, Claude Sonnet 4.6, Claude Opus 4.6 and GPT-OSS-120B. Googlebook sells a bundled environment and Android integration, rather than standalone access to the agent.
Google promises to update Googlebook OS for up to 10 years.
