GitHub Copilot review becomes configurable for teams: Business and Enterprise get personal settings
On September 23, GitHub opened personal code review settings for Copilot Business and Copilot Enterprise. The new page lets users enable automatic reviews and choose the depth of review. On individual plans, code review starts with Copilot Pro at $10 per month.
Personal GitHub Copilot settings were available only to Pro, Pro+, and Max, while automatic reviews used a single toggle. Now reviews of draft PRs and new pushes are enabled separately.
Two settings. An automatic review runs when a PR is created, co-authored, or moved out of draft. A one-off review is requested in an open PR: under Reviewers, click Request next to Copilot; a response usually arrives in under 30 seconds.
For automatic repository reviews, GitHub guides you through Settings → Rulesets → New ruleset → New branch ruleset. This is also where reviews of new pushes and draft PRs are enabled.
In Enterprise, repositories in an organization inherit a single review depth until the organization or repository itself overrides it.
