Muse will become more independent in everyday tasks: the agent will get its own email
On September 23, 2026, Meta gave Muse its own email address for tasks and communicating with the agent. The company also added video calls with a Muse avatar and computer use on Mac.
Muse previously communicated with users only in chat. Meta is now adding live video calls with an avatar, email as a channel for tasks, and permission-based control of Mac apps.
Shopping and payments. Meta connected 10 retail services, including Walmart, Best Buy, and Sephora, and announced Shop Pay and PayPal for payments. Muse asks for confirmation before sending an email or making a purchase.
Where it works. Muse is rolling out in the US on iOS, Android, and the web through muse.ai. Basic use is free, with Meta promising a subscription for higher usage.
In the coming months, Meta plans to add Muse to its AI glasses, where the agent will launch by name and act on what the user sees in front of them.
