Codex CLI updates with the same command: release 0.158.0 is available

Codex CLI 0.158.0 was released on Sep 28, 2026. Installation and updates use one script: `curl -fsSL https://chatgpt.com/codex/install.sh | sh`.

Previously, this script installed Codex CLI on macOS and Linux. Now it also updates the client to version 0.158.0. Alternatives: `npm install -g @openai/codex` or `brew install --cask codex`, then run `codex`.
