Colleagues don’t need projects in advance: Delta gives them a thread and 4 local copies
In a Sep 29 Delta thread, a collaborator link creates four isolated repository copies with the changes already applied. Changes do not need to be committed or pushed to a remote repository. Delta's public beta has been free since Sep 16.

Four repositories are attached to this Delta thread. When a colleague is given its link, they receive the full conversation and a working copy of every repository with the thread's changes already applied. Those changes do not need to be committed or pushed to a remote repository.

it's basically impossible for someone to just "show you their prompt" now, because everything is about references, skills and examples I often ask my agent to look at 3 other repos I've made first, search the web for references, use other AI APIs, etc.

Normally, uncommitted changes do not make it into a commit or push. Delta puts them into working copies along with the thread conversation.
How to share. In Delta, click Share, choose access, and copy the link. Every attached repository needs a Git remote; without one, add a remote first and push.
Zed is already maintaining its own repository without pull requests: by Sep 16, 33 people had made 570 changes to main.
